Potton has lots of opportunities to become involved in growing food, either for yourself or as a volunteer supporting like-minded people to grow food or flowers as part of community-led projects. You can view the site locations here.

There is an established allotment site at Everton Road where there are 44 full-size plots, and we anticipate a new site with 27 plots becoming available at the Brook Gardens development.

There is a community food garden located on Myers Road and some community flower gardens have also been created to brighten pathways that lead into town, in Baker Avenue and Meeting Lane which are managed by the local residents.

Potton Community Orchard is located in part of the Tall Trees Public Open Space at the bottom of Hutchinson Rise. Work to create the orchard started in 2016 and is now managed by a growing number of like minded volunteers.
