Potton Playhouse – Murder Mystery Dinner – Death at the Casino

Enjoy an immersive whodunnit at the Casino presented and performed by Potton Playhouse. Have fun playing at the tables (no money involved!) while eating delicious food and trying to solve the murder. Setting is 1930’s Las Vegas. Fancy dress encouraged! Licensed bar.

Potton’s Christmas lights installation will commence on Sunday 1st November and will continue on Sunday 15th November.

Volunteers will meet in the Market Square at 10am.

This year’s Remembrance Service and Parade will be held on Sunday 8th November.  The service starts at 10.10am in the Market Square (what3words ///chromatic.custodial.grumbles) followed by the parade to the War Memorial (what3words ///tortoises.showdown.keener), leaving promptly at 10.30am.  Laying of wreaths at the War Memorial at Potton Cemetery in Sandy Road following the two-minutes silence at 11am.

Supper & Quiz Night – A Golden Touch Fundraising Event in aid of Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) supporting the building of the new Addenbrooke’s Children’s Hospital.

Table-top Legends Club 1^st Anniversary Event in aid of Mind BLMK

Please note: Tabletop Legends is a Tabletop Gaming club for adults 18+. Some themes and topics discussed and presented in various games may not be suitable for young children. The club’s policy allows for 16 and 17 year to attend as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

The 2026 Christmas Lights Big Switch-On event is on Saturday 28th November with a Christmas Craft Fair in Brook End, the Community Centre and the Market Square, which will include the usual stalls from Potton groups and organisations, together with Henry Harris’ fairground rides and other entertainment on stage in the Market Square.  The Big Switch-On is at 5pm.

Father Christmas will be in his Post Office from 3.30pm and will have his post box so if you would like to write to him, please remember to include your name and address so he can reply.

Indoor Christmas Fayre

A Christmas Fayre with local craft and artisan stalls brought to you by Confetti Events. With Pop up cafe.

Father Christmas will be visiting Potton on Sunday 13th December from approximately 4.30pm. Santa and his Elves will try to visit as many roads as possible, but they can’t promise to visit every street, so try to listen out for the sleigh as they make their way around town. If you should miss them along the way, come down to the Market Square at around 6pm where his journey will end.

If you happen to be driving around town that evening, please kindly pass by at no more than 5mph to keep everyone safe. Thank you.
